If Conway is unable to play in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season owing to fitness issues, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will face the difficulty of finding a suitable replacement for their starting lineup.
Matheesha Pathirana
Matheesha Pathirana of Sri Lanka, a teenage pacer famed for his lethal death-over bowling, has been a significant match-winner for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in recent seasons. However, his unorthodox bowling style has left him prone to injury, raising concerns over his availability. While he is fit now, CSK will keep a close tab on Pathirana ahead of IPL 2025.
Kamlesh Nagarkoti
Kamlesh Nagarkoti, picked up by CSK for Rs 30 lakh as a reserve player, has struggled with recurring injuries throughout his career.
