MS Dhoni’s IPL return for the 2025 season has been one of the most anticipated events in cricket. The legendary wicketkeeper-batter, who has been synonymous with Chennai Super Kings (CSK), will be playing his 18th season in the tournament. Despite being 43 years old, Dhoni remains a key figure for CSK, having been retained as an uncapped player for Rs 4 crore.

Dhoni has openly acknowledged that he is not as fit as he used to be, but he is putting in the effort to stay in shape for the game. He mentioned that he engages in various sports like tennis, badminton, and football during the off-season to maintain his fitness. His commitment to the sport and his team is unwavering, and he continues to be a mentor and guide for younger players.

One of Dhoni’s most remarkable achievements in the IPL is his record as a captain. He has led CSK to five IPL titles, making him one of the most successful captains in the tournament’s history.
