The second ODI of the NZ vs SL series saw some exciting and memorable moments as Sri Lankan spinner Maheesh Theekshana struck against the hosts and took a hat-trick. The mystery spinner finished the game with career-best figures of 4-44 from eight overs and restricted the Kiwis to a total of 255-9. It all started with Mitchell Santner, who was caught at deep cover, followed by Nathan Smith, who was caught by Kamindu Mendis off a carrom ball. Finally, Menry became the victim of Theekshana on the 36.1 ball of Teekshana, completing his hat-trick.
Take a look at all the Sri Lankan players and international cricketers who have taken a hat-trick for their respective teams.
