Who won how many sessions on Day 1 of IND vs AUS MCG Test

With the India vs Australia 4th Test in full swing and Day 1 ended, who won how many sessions on Day 1 of the IND vs AUS MCG Test?

From youngest debutant Sam Konstas’ fifty to Steve Smith looking lethal as he was in Perth, all things came to light at the MCG in the ongoing Boxing Day Test match between India and Australia, where more than 87,000 spectators witnessed an impressive Day 1 of the fourth Test. Initially, it was all about Sam Konstas, who took charge and played a memorable knock on his debut, thriving fully and taking on pacers like Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj. Although Jadeja found the key to dismiss him, Usman Khawaja also played a gritty knock of 57.

We also saw some not-so-good banter between Virat Kohli and Sam Konstas, which grabbed attention. As a result, Virat received a fine of 20% for breaching the code of conduct. Dangerous Travis Head got out cheaply, and once again, the tough job was done by Jasprit Bumrah. Overall, Day 1 was fruitful for both teams, but it was Australia who sat comfortably at 311/6, with Steve Smith still there at the crease, playing at 68. Rohit and his team will look to remove him as soon as possible. Let’s see how the session went for both teams and check who took the lead on Day 1.
