The highly anticipated eleventh season of the Celebrity Cricket League, a distinctive Twenty20 competition in which each team competes in two Test-style innings of ten overs each, will start on January 31. The league showcases the cricketing prowess of cinema actors, technicians, and others, fusing the thrill of show business with the love of cricket. Matches are only scheduled on weekends, with one on Friday and two on Saturday and Sunday. The tournament lasts for almost a month.
This season, the Celebrity Cricket League will once again feature eight teams: Karnataka Bulldozers, Mumbai Heroes, Bhojpuri Dabanggs, Telugu Warriors, Bengal Tigers, Chennai Rhinos, Kerala Strikers, and Punjab De Sher.
Each team will play four matches, with the top four advancing to the semi-finals. Unlike last year, when the loser of the first qualifier got another chance to reach the final by facing the winner of the eliminator in a second qualifier, this year’s format appears to be a straightforward semi-final setup based on the announced schedule.
