Global Esports skips BGMI 2025 Season

In a statement, Global Esports highlighted issues such as inflated player salaries, delayed payouts, and an inconsistent tournament schedule as major obstacles. They emphasized that the current roadmap does not provide sufficient support for teams to thrive long-term.

Global Esports posted, “For the 2025 season, we will not be fielding our own competitive roster but instead using all our expertise to help the rest of the ecosystem sustain, grow and build towards a future where it is viable for a team/ org to be able to take this as a serious business which based on the current roadmap, it is not. We will expand into various other aspects of the ecosystem which we have been doing behind the scenes for the last 5 years, but now do it without having a team / roster at the forefront of it. 2025 is going to be the most exciting year for GE and the biggest year for Video Games!”
