The fiery batter, who was let go by CSK during retentions, and found a new home at DC, smashed 13 fours and 20 sixes, in an innings that had a strike-rate of of overs 207.

Meanwhile, the match was between UP and Tripura, at the Vadodara Stadium. where UP piled on 405 runs. This also happens to be the fastest double ton in history of U21 State A trophy, but won’t really go down as a List A record. So, Kiwi Chad Bowes still holds the record for fastest double ton in List A cricket — in 103 deliveries in the Ford Trophy.
Permanent in DC XI for IPL 2025?

That means, DC would be keeping a close eye on him for the upcoming IPL 2025 season, after failing to deliver in 2024. For CSK this year, he could only manage to score 51 runs in 8 innings. Now, he could slot in anywhere in the middle-order for the Delhi franchise, who would miss the presence of Rishabh Pant, but will have veteran KL Rahul’s services.
