In an interview with Dainik Jagran, Sharma confirmed when asked about Kohli’s future plans after retirement, saying, “Yes, Virat is planning to move to London. He’ll leave India very soon.”
If we look at the recent news as well, the question of Virat Kohli leaving India has become a hot topic, as he is often spotted in London during breaks between international series. We have seen pictures of him after the Sri Lanka tour, and even more recently, he has been seen spending time with his family in London.

Just like the confirmation about him moving to London permanently, a few months ago, rumors also surfaced that Kohli might decide to take British citizenship. If that happens, we’ll see some changes in his IPL playing status. Although dual citizenship is allowed for British citizens, India does not permit dual citizenship, meaning Kohli would have to surrender his Indian passport if he opts for it.
