IND vs AUS Weather Live: Rain continues to frustrates again after Jadeja completes 50

Catch all the live updates regarding the Brisbane weather for the third BGT Test between India and Australia.

We are into the most important day of the ongoing third Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) Test. The Gabba Stadium in Brisbane saw a frustrating Day 3, with players coming in and going out for play several times within a span of some hours. Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul began India’s innings that faltered massively on Day 3. Talking about the weather, we can expect rain to come in as the day progresses. There is a probability of at least 30 percent of rain throughout the day. After 13.5 overs on Day 4, a rapid shower came and players had to move back to the pavilion.

The rain-hit IND vs AUS 3rd Test began with the hosts batting first. Centuries from Travis Head and Steve Smith steered Australia to a mammoth 445-run total in the 1st innings, putting India on the back foot. In fact, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma’s decision to bowl first after winning the toss was heavily criticised by former cricketers.

In response, India‘s top-order continued to falter in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy, with the likes of Yashasvi Jaiswal, Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant failing to fire at the Gabba. Skipper Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul stay unbeaten at the end of Day 3 as a frustrating day came to an early end, thanks to rain. Should this contest be washed out, given that there is 90% chance of rain with a forecast for a storm on Day 5, then India have no choice but to win the remaining two matches in order to fancy their chances of punching a ticket to Lord’s in 2025.
