After a significant delay, the International Cricket Council (ICC) is expected to announce the schedule for Champions Trophy 2025 on Monday. As per Cricket Pakistan, the tournament schedule in nearing completion and the key issues between India and Pakistan have been resolved. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has expressed intent to sign the agreement after reviewing necessary documentation, the report added. CT 2025 will be hosted in hybrid model, with Pakistan and Dubai picked as the two locations.

After weeks of impasse between India and Pakistan over the former refusing to travel to the neighbouring country for CT 2025, the ICC finally approved the hybrid model for the event last week. Both BCCI and PCB have agreed “in principle” for the hybrid model while also agreeing that the Pakistan team will not travel to India for the T20 World Cup in 2026. Additionally, the IND vs PAK tie will be held in Colombi, Sri Lanka. Champions Trophy 2025 semi-final and final will be held in Dubai if India qualify for the playoffs. If they don’t, then Pakistan’s Lahore will host the final clash.
