WPL 2025 Auction: List of all squads (updated)

WPL Auction: The biggest surprise of the Auction has to be, Sneh Rana going unsold, and Simran Shaikh getting a bid of 1.9 Cr.

The WPL 2025 Auction in Bengaluru, on Sunday was an intense affair, with the teams not bidding for some big stars, and shelling out massive amount of money for the uncapped Indian players. The WPL Auction was only an indication, as to how much faith the team owners, place in the current, young bunch in Indian Cricket.

Meanwhile, InsideSport takes a look at the all the updated squads after the WPL Auction:

MI Squad After WPL Auction

The team had four slots remaining and a purse of INR 2.65 Cr. MI went in for G Kamalini, Nadine De Klerk, Sanskriti Gupta, and Akshita Maheshwari. Eventually, they ended up spending 2.2 Cr from their remaining purse. Fortunately for them, they were able to fill in some gaps after the team released Issy Wong.

DC Full Squad

Having let go Poonam Yadav and Laura Harris from their team, DC looked more than settled, to not bid for the bid players. They instead went in for Nandini Kashyap, N Charani, Sarah Bryce, and Nikki Prasad, and ended up spending only INR 85 Lakh in the auction.

GG Full Squad

Gujarat Giants had the highest purse of 4.4 Cr, and that showed in their bidding as well. When the first player of the day, Deandra Dotting went under the hammer, they did not waste any time. After an intense bidding, the team got her for 1.7 Cr. They spent a fortune on little-known Simran Shaikh (1.9 Cr) as well.

UPW Full Squad

Let us just say, UP Warriorz were extremely lucky to get Aussie Alana King for only 30 lakh. And that is where they spent their most money in the IPL Auction. They also got Arushi Goel and Krati Goud, but those could be considered only fillers. They ended up spending only 50 lakh in the Auction.

RCB Full Squad

The season 2024 winners did not have much to do when they came to the auction. But they did get hold of a few talented Indian players — VJ Joshitha being one of the them. The 18-year-old is already a 110 kmph bowler and this stint with RCB will only improve her.
