Two seasons, and two last-place finishes for Gujarat Giants, doesn’t truly reveal the sort of caliber the team has. There is the likes of Ashleigh Gardener, Beth Mooney, Laura Wolvaardt, and Pheobe Litchfield — but still they haven’t been able to uplift the performance of the GG team.
Come the WPL Auction 2025, GG would like to get some decent batters. Somehow their batting unit hasn’t clicked in the two seasons they have played, and hopefully the WPL 2025 will be a bit different.

GG has the highest purse left, across all teams — INR 4.4 Cr, and have to fill four slots in that. They can also accommodate two foreigners in their team. On their radar would be Lauren Bell, Kim Garth, and even someone like a Poonam Yadav.
