WPL has been a bit of a mixed bag for Alyssa Healy-led UP Warriorz team. In the first year, they made it to the playoffs, while in WPL 2024, the team finished fourth, failing to progress. This, despite them possessing a decent team, with a few big stars present in their line-up. Apart from the skipper, there is Deepti Sharma, who is the best-rounder, and Sophie Ecclestone, and even Tahila McGrath.
Where they really need some strength is their bowling — and that would be on their radar in the WPL Auction 2025, scheduled to take place on December 15 in Bengaluru.

Despite four wins and four losses in the first season, UP Warriorz made it to the playoffs, but there, lost comfortably to MI in the eliminator. After the latter scored 182, UP managed only 110 and were ousted from the tournament. In the WPL 2024, the team performed poorly, and finished fourth with three wins from eight games, to be thrown out of the league in the first round itself.
