After their emphatic 10-wicket win against India in the IND vs AUS Pink Ball Adelaide Test, the Australia Cricket Team will be coming with all guns blazing against Team India. With the Border Gavaskar Trophy now tied 1-1, the hosts will be desperate to take a lead in the series.
There is however some good news for the Aussies. Injured Josh Hazlewood is set to make a return to the team after missing out on the previous game. On the other hand, Mitchell Marsh has claimed that he is ready to resume bowing duties after being relieved in the previous Test match.
The batting order remains the same
The hosts will be keeping their batting order intact after their recent success in Adelaide. Usman Khawaja and Nathan McSweeney will open the innings for the mighty Australians. On the other hand, now hopes will be high on Marnish Labuschagne and Steve Smith to roar back to form.
Travis Head silenced the Indians with his heroic 140-run knock in the previous game, showcasing that he is still a huge threat to the visitors. Overall, the Aussies will be heavily reliant on their batting order to continue their fine form after their dominating win in the last game.

Josh Hazlewood to replace Scot Boland
Despite his good spell in the previous game, Scot Boland will find himself on the bench. This will be done to accommodate Josh Hazlewood who is set to make a return to the team. Aussie captain, Pat Cummins has already confirmed that Hazlewood’s recovery is going on well and looks well poised to make a return.
On the other hand, Mitchell Marsh too is injury-free. The all-rounder has claimed that he is ready to put in as many overs as Cummins wants in the game. Thus, Australia now boasts of having a strong bowling attack comprising Cummins, Starc, Hazlewood, and Marsh with Nathan Lyon being the lone spinner.
