Meeting reading Cricket in Brisbane Olympics
It’s been under two weeks since Jay Shah took office. Since then, he’s had a meeting with all the other cricket boards and even tried to act as a mediator between the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) regarding the Champions Trophy 2025. Now, he’s reached Brisbane to talk about Cricket in the Olympics.
For the unaware, last year it was announced that cricket would return to the Olympics. The sport was part of the 1900 Games in Paris and would make a comeback after 128 years in Los Angeles in four years’ time. However, since the year and host for the Olympics was also decided, 2032 in Brisbane, Shah is expected to talk shop about the mega event.
