IND vs AUS: “Scheduled a tattoo…” KL Rahul shares what he plans to do right after 5th BGT Test in Sydney

Apart from this watertight and elegent technique, KL Rahul loves to go all out on tattoos. In fact, he already has more than 22 tattoos on him.

KL Rahul attended a pre-match press conference in Adelaide ahead of the second Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT). While he revealed the highly talked-about conundrum in the Indian team currently—the batting position of him and skipper Rohit Sharma—KL Rahul spilled beans on his favourite hobby. At the end of the press conference, the star batter divulged what he plans right after the BGT series.

KL Rahul has a “tattoo” appointment scheduled in Syedney

Apart from his cricketing skills, Rahul’s fascination with tattoos has become a part of his identity. The Mangalore-born loves to express himself through tattoos, and this “self-loving” expression has been printed as many as over 22 times over his body. Incredibly, KL Rahul plans to add another one to his list.

During the press conference, one reporter asked about his habit of inking tattoos when on tours. Rahul duly agreed and asserted that he plans to have it once the BGT gets over.

“I have it (tattoo) scheduled for after the last BGT Test in Sydney. Yup (on if he has identified what to ink).” Hearing this, the media person tried to know about it before Rahul sweetly nudged his request, telling him that “it’s personal.” While the press conference was adjourned after this question, Indian fans would be hopeful that when Rahul goes to get another tattoo, he would be a BGT 2024/25 winner by then.

The Rohit Sharma-led side currently holds a 1-0 advantage in the five-match series. While the second Test beckons from December 6, the ultimate game will be played in Sydney. It is scheduled from January 3 to January 7.
