What is India’s record in ICC Champions Trophy?

As the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is expected to take place in March, let’s take a look at India’s record in the tournament.

The Champions Trophy is set for its ninth edition in Pakistan. However, the venue remains a contentious issue between India and Pakistan, as both sides have yet to reach a conclusion. According to reports, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has agreed to adopt the hybrid model but insists on having the same option when any tournament is hosted in India.

India will aim to win the ICC Champions Trophy to showcase their dominance in ODI cricket. Having already won the T20 World Cup, they will look to secure victory in the WTC Final to establish themselves as the number one team in Tests. Similarly, winning the Champions Trophy will reaffirm their status as the top team in ODIs.
