Who is Gurjanpreet Singh?
Gurjanpreet Singh, a promising left-arm medium-fast bowler, was signed by CSK for ₹2.2 crores in the IPL 2025 auction. Hailing from Punjab, Gurjanpreet moved to Chennai at the age of 17 and has since played for Tamil Nadu in domestic cricket. With a base price of just ₹30 lakhs, his hefty signing highlights CSK’s belief in his potential.
The 26-year-old has experience in the Tamil Nadu Premier League, where he represented teams like the Siechem Madurai Panthers and Dindigul Dragons. In T20s, he has played four matches, taking six wickets.
