Batter Prithvi Shaw‘s form continues to remain a point of concern for Mumbai as he failed to fire in the game against Services in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. The out-of-favour batter was dismissed before he could open his account on Tuesday. He managed to last for just three deliveries before he was cleaned up by Poonia.
Prithvi Shaw flops again in SMAT
After being dropped from the team midway through Ranji Trophy, Shaw found himself handed another lifeline as he was named in Mumbai’s squad for Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. He managed to get good starts on three out of four occasions but failed to convert it to a good knock. He was dismissed for a duck in Mumbai’s very first match against Maharashtra. So far, Prithvi Shaw has registered scores of 33, 0, 23, 40 and 0 in five matches.
