PV Sindhu is set to embark on a new chapter as she prepares to tie the knot. According to reports, the star shuttler will marry Hyderabad-based businessman Venkata Datta Sai, the Executive Director of Posidex Technologies. The wedding is scheduled for December 22.

Sindhu, who recently ended a long title drought by winning the Syed Modi Open on Sunday, has planned her wedding for December 22. The reception is scheduled to take place in Hyderabad on December 24.

Two-time Olympic medalist PV Sindhu ended her over two-year drought on the Badminton World Federation (BWF) World Tour by defeating China’s Wu Luo Yu in the women’s singles final in the Syed Modi Open.
In a title match that lasted 47 minutes, PV Sindhu defeated Luo Yu 21-14, 21-16 in straight games.
This victory marked Sindhu’s first BWF World Tour title since her triumph at the Singapore Open, a BWF Super 500 event, in July 2022. The Syed Modi India International, however, is a BWF Super 300 tournament. Despite reaching the finals of the Spain Masters and Malaysia Masters in 2023 and this year, Sindhu had been unable to secure a title until now.
