Jaydev Unadkat continues to enjoy his luck when it comes to Indian Premier League (IPL) as he found yet another home in IPL 2025 auction. The veteran pacer, who was purchased by SRH for Rs 5 cr in the mega auction, created history after being sold for the 13th time in the tournament’s history. Despite being out of the favour of the selectors at the national level, he seems to be having a good run with luck in IPL and has created history by becoming the first-ever player to be sold for the 13th time in IPL auction.
Jaydev Unadkat finds a new team, for the 13th time in IPL!
It is pertinent to point out that no other player has been sold more than 10 times in IPL auction. Jaydev Unadkat has played for eight IPL franchises in the past but has never been a part of a side that has lifted the trophy. So far, Unadkat has played for KKR, DC, RCB, RPS, RR, MI, LSG and SRH. Unadkat was sold to Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs 1 crore in IPL 2025 auction.
Having made his IPL debut in 2010, Unadkat has taken 99 wickets from 105 matches, averaging 32.21. His best season came in 2017 when he picked up 24 wickets in that particular season.
