In the first Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2020/21, India opted to bat first and posted a total of 244 runs, with then-captain Virat Kohli leading the charge with a composed 74-run knock. Australia’s pace duo Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins were instrumental with the ball, claiming four and three wickets, respectively.
