Have cracks opened up in the Australia Cricket Team? Pundits and former greats have been left staggered and bewildered following Australia’s Perth Test loss and Josh Hazlewood’s remarks on batting collapse. Micheal Vaughan claimed he was shocked to see an Australian come out in public and divide the camp.
As things stand, the pundits believe that camps have been split in the Australia Cricket Team. The bowling side is blaming the batter and vice versa. Even after the match, Mitchell Starc blamed the batting claiming it to be under par.
What actually happened?
“I guess the batters are just sticking to what they what they do, their preparation, they’ll have a hit in the morning and talk around plans of how what happened the first innings, how they can negate that and move forward and improve on that,” Josh Hazlewood said to the media.
And following his remark, the pundits were left stunned. “I must admit, I’m staggered by that. Josh Hazlewood is a great bowler, terrific team member. Publicly, I’ve never heard an Australian come out and kind of divide the camp into batters and bowlers,” Vaughan said on Fox Cricket.

Former Australian Cricket Team batters David Warner and Adam Gilchrist too were left stunned at Hazlewood’s comments. The duo cited that cracks in the Aussie team are not a good thing, given the importance of the Border Gavaskar Trophy.
“That to me tells me there is potentially a divided change room. I don’t know if there is. I might be reading too much into that,” Adam Gilchrist.
“Those comments probably weren’t warranted, [but] I don’t think there is a divide. In the England team, Broady [Stuart Broad] or Jimmy [Anderson] might have come off after a long day and you can start pointing fingers, but I don’t think there is a divide,” David Warner chirped.
