Having retained five players overall, the Shubman Gill-led side need to get at least four more players, to complete their minimum quota of players. Overall, with the inclusion of the likes of Kagiso Rabada, Jos Buttler, Mohammed Siraj and Prasidh Krishna, GT squad has taken a formidable shape.
It must be noted that GT had a purse of 69 Cr, before coming into the IPL Auction. So, in short, they will have enough money to complete their squad, and add a few more players to their roster.

Gaps to Fill at IPL Auction 2025 Day 2
Clearly, it is their bowling that looks the stronger suit. GT will have to make an added effort to bag some top-class batters, who come for cheap. On their wish list should be the likes of Prithvi Shaw, Washington Sundar, Josh Inglis, or someone even like Moeen Ali.
