Virat Kohli achieved his 81th international century on November 24 during the first Test between India and Australia in Perth. The Indian star returned to form, scoring his first hundred of 2024. Kohli reached the milestone in just 143 balls at the Optus Stadium. The right-handed batter is already ranked second on the all-time list, behind Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar, who holds the incredible record of 100 centuries across all formats of the game.
Most International Centuries in all formats
Can Virat Kohli break Sachin Tendulkar’s seemingly unbreakable record of 100 centuries? The 36-year-old batter currently has 81 international centuries and needs 20 more to reach the milestone. Kohli will likely need to play for another 2-3 years to come close to the legendary batter. However, Kohli has already surpassed Sachin’s record of most hundreds in One-Day Internationals, with 50 ODI centuries to his name.
