The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 mega auction started with the purchase of Arshdeep Singh. KKRs title-winning skipper Shreyas Iyer was bagged for a massive 26.75 Cr by PBKS. Just a few minutes after that, Rishabh Pant pipped Iyer to become the most expensive player, as he was bagged by LSG for 27 Cr. The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are yet to make and buy a player but are expected to get one of the remaining marquee players from the first set.
