Yashasvi Jaiswal’s batting has been a slight to behold. The Young batter has broken records for fun in the IND vs AUS 1st Test in Perth. After notching up his 100, he is now en route to slam his second 150 in Test cricket. Australian great Matthew Hayden predicts Jaiswal will make good use of the conditions and continue to inflict more pain on the Aussies.
“Great talent, great composure and get for a damn good performer at the other end in KL Rahul who guided him through the innings by showing how to bat after the first innings. Yashasvi’s hunger that we have been speaking about for some time. We haven’t seen the best of his shot-making ability yet with the new ball. It’s a hot day and he’s going to make hay while the sun shines,” Matthew Hayden said at Star Sports during the Lunch break.

Yashasvi Jaiswal has been in a class of his own. The young southpaw has humiliated the Australia Cricket Team with his brilliant debut Test century. Coming from the back of a first-innings duck, he struck up a brilliant partnership with KL Rahul to unleash his fury.
Matthew Hayden also praised KL Rahul for his defiant knock. Though he didn’t reach a century, KL Rahul’s 77-run knock was crucial in helping the duo establish the highest opening stand by India against Australia in Down Under.
Hayden pointed out how KL Rahul has been instrumental in Jaiswal batting well and getting the confidence to play some good shots. As a senior, KL on the other hand has performed well and has helped the young batter in bringing out the very best of his abilities.
