The young southpaw hammered a sensational ton in the second innings to register his maiden Test ton against Australia. And in doing so, he has smashed quite a few records. Among them, he becomes the third youngest Asian player to score a Test ton in Perth.
The young opener has now joined the elite list of greats like Sachin Tendulkar and Javed Miandad for his enthralling knock. While Sachin tops the charts after having achieved the record at a mere 18 years of age, Jaiswal is the third youngest Asian batter to achieve it at the age of 22 years.
