Australia’s lowest score in Test against India

Australia could set an unwanted record by registering their lowest total against India in the 1st Test in Perth.

The highly anticipated Border-Gavaskar Trophy has begun with bowlers dominating and batters struggling at the Perth Cricket Stadium. India was bowled out for 150 on Day 1, while Australia is edging toward their lowest total against India, currently at 67/7. The lowest total Australia has ever scored against India is 83, recorded back in 1981.

India must win this match to keep their qualification hopes alive for the World Test Championship (WTC) final. The top two teams in the Test rankings are finding it challenging to score runs, as the pitch heavily favors pacers. If Australia is dismissed for less than 83, it will mark their lowest total in Test cricket against India.
