Who will replace Rohit Sharma in IND vs AUS 1st Test?
India are tasked with finding a replacement for the opener’s role in place of Rohit Sharma. KL Rahul is the frontrunner, having shrugged off injury concerns to return to training on Sunday. Ruturaj Gaikwad and Abhimanyu Easwaran – India’s back-up openers – have tasted very little success in India A’s tour against Australia A ahead of the series. With Shubman Gill suffering an injury to his finger, India are left with very few choices for finding a replacement for Rohit Sharma.
