The injury crisis continues for the India Football Team. Just a day ahead of the India vs Malaysia International friendly, defender Jay Gupta has been added to the India camp. He goes on to replace Asish Rai and Aakash Sangwan who have been released from the squad after sustaining injuries.
Last week, the All India Football Federation (AIFF) went on to announce that Anirudh Thapa and Vikram Pratap Singh were released from the initial 26-member squad after suffering injuries in their respective matches in the Indian Super League (ISL). Thoiba Singh joined them as a replacement. And now a day ahead of the match, 2 defenders have been released after suffering injuries that raise major concerns about the team.
