Marcus Stoinis
The Australian batting all-rounder has the ability to excel both at the top of the order and as a finisher. In addition to his batting skills, his medium pace and variations could be effective on the pitches at Chepauk.
Jitesh Sharma
After being released by PBKS, Jitesh expressed his interest in playing for either MI or CSK in future seasons. However, Punjab Kings might still use their Right to Match (RTM) card to retain him.If selected, he could contribute as a reliable finisher and serve as the team’s wicketkeeper if MS Dhoni’s fitness does not allow him to keep.
R Ashwin
The 38-year-old off-spinner, a former CSK player, has strong ties to Chennai. The next three years could be his final stint in the IPL, and his experience and guidance could play a key role in shaping the franchise’s future.
