India vs South Africa 3rd T20I LIVE: The second innings started in a strange fashion, when the match was stopped due to a fly invasion. Right after match started again, SA lost wickets at regular intervals and were reduced to 68/3 in 8.5 overs. Later in the innings, Marco Jansen smashed 54 from 17, but that was not enough for SA to win, and lost by 11 runs.
It was the poorest possible star for Team India as Sanju Samson was dismissed for a duck by Marco Jansen. But then Tilak Varma and Abhishek Sharma combined well to take India to recovery. The duo took IND to 107/2 in 9 overs. At one stage SA made a comeback to reduce IND to 143/4 in 14.3 overs. Eventually Tilak’s ton took India to 219/6.
Just before the start of the match, Hardik Pandya handed India cap to debutant Ramandeep Singh, who has been in some excellent form. He would be looking to impress with his batting and fast-bowling skills. Meanwhile India would want Sanju Samson to fire, who after scoring a ton in the first match, failed miserably in the second.
Suryakumar Yadav and co. will be eyeing a comeback against the Proteas in India vs South Africa 3rd T20I in Centurion on Wednesday. The series is currently levelled 1-1, with SA managing a nail-biting three wicket win in the 2nd T20I. T20 World Cup defending champions India have a do-or-die task at hand in the 3rd T20I and will look to capitalize upon the opportunity.
