New Zealand pacer Lockie Ferguson wreaked havoc on Sri Lanka in SL vs NZ 2nd T20I by becoming the fifth Kiwi star to bag a hat-trick in T20Is. The bowler got rid of Kusal Perera, Kusal Mendis and Charath Asalanka to dismantle the Sri Lankan middle-order. New Zealand are defending a low total after managing just 108 runs in the 1st innings.

Lockie Ferguson’s first victim was Kusal Perera as he was caught out by Hay off the last delivery of the sixth over. The Kiwi bowler returned in his very next over to strike in the first two deliveries, sending Menids and Asalanka packing.
