Pakistan to boycott ICC events till 2031 “if India doesn’t play Champions Trophy”, claims ex-PAK skipper

ICC recently cancelled pre-tournament event originally planned for November 11 in Lahore, which was set to mark the 100-day countdown to the ICC Champions Trophy.

Wow! When the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 was scheduled to happen in Pakistan, we knew the drama would unfold. The BCCI has remained firm on their decision of not to go to Pakistan to play the mega ICC event. Despite Pakistan’s repeated appeals, the BCCI has maintained its firm position. Political tensions between the two countries have been a significant factor in India’s refusal to play in Pakistan. The last time the Indian cricket team visited Pakistan was for the Asia Cup in 2008. While Pakistan has consistently reassured the BCCI about security, the risk remains too great for them to accept
