IPL 2025: Purse remaining and RTM cards available for all 10 IPL teams in mega auction

With all retentions done, all eyes now turn to the IPL mega auction. Check the RTM cards and purse status of each IPL team.

Everyone is eagerly waiting for the IPL 2025 mega auction, but before that, teams have fine-tuned their squads by retaining core players, with a maximum of six retentions allowed. However, not many teams opted for all six retentions, with some going for five or three, and we even saw how Punjab Kings retained only two, which came as a surprise. If we look at the full scenario, teams were able to retain up to six players before the mega auction, and now they will look to fill the remaining spots in the auction using their Right to Match cards and the money left in their purses. Initially, each team was allotted Rs. 120 crore.

However, things have now changed, Punjab Kings will have the biggest purse at the auction, having retained just two uncapped players and will have Rs. 110.5 crore to spend. Royal Challengers Bengaluru will have the second-highest purse with Rs. 83 crore, despite paying Virat Kohli Rs. 21 crore. On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals (RR) have only Rs. 41 crore left, with their two retentions, Sanju Samson and Yashasvi Jaiswal, set to earn Rs. 18 crore each. Their third retention, Riyan Parag, will receive Rs. 14 crore, while Dhruv Jurel and Shimron Hetmyer will earn Rs. 14 crore and Rs. 11 crore, respectively. Additionally, Sandeep Sharma will earn Rs. 4 crore. Since each team can retain up to six players, the Rajasthan Royals have the least amount left going into the IPL 2025 mega auction. See how many RTM cards are left for each team and check the remaining auction purse for each IPL team.
