Who won today’s PKL match between Tamil Thalaivas and Dabang Delhi K.C?

Dabang Delhi K.C. cruised to a 39-26 win over Tamil Thalaivas, with dominant defensive efforts from Yogesh and Ashish Malik, and a Super 10 from Ashu Malik.

Dabang Delhi K.C. delivered a commanding performance as they thrashed Tamil Thalaivas 39-26 at the GMCB Indoor Stadium, showcasing a ruthless defensive display. Yogesh and Ashish Malik both recorded High 5s, while Ashu Malik continued his brilliant form, earning another Super 10 in Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 11.

Defensive mastery sets the tone

The match began with both teams focusing on their defensive strategies, making it a closely contested affair. Yogesh, Ashish Malik, and the rest of Dabang Delhi K.C.’s defence remained disciplined, ensuring their team held a slight two-point lead. Narender Kandola and Ashu Malik were the only raiders to register a couple of points each in the first 10 minutes.

Tamil Thalaivas fight back, Delhi regain Control

Moein Shafagi leveled the score for Tamil Thalaivas with a two-point raid, and Sachin Tanwar found his rhythm, helping Tamil Thalaivas take a brief two-point lead. However, the momentum shifted quickly as Yogesh executed a Super Tackle on Sachin, regaining the lead for Dabang Delhi K.C.

Yogesh’s exceptional performance continued, as he completed his High 5, which included two Super Tackles. With this solid defensive foundation, Dabang Delhi K.C. increased their lead to four points and closed the first half with a commanding 16-10 advantage, thanks to Manu’s superb two-point raid.

Ashu Malik and Ashish malik seal the win

The second half saw Dabang Delhi K.C. extend their lead to 10 points after Ashu Malik inflicted an ALL OUT on Tamil Thalaivas. Ashu Malik’s Super 10, his 8th in 9 games this season, ensured that Tamil Thalaivas could not find a way back into the match.

Ashish Malik joined Yogesh in the defensive spotlight, completing his own High 5 as the Season 8 champions maintained relentless pressure. In the end, Dabang Delhi K.C. sealed a comfortable 39-26 victory, securing their fourth win of the season.
