IPL Mega Auction: 3 CSK players who can be in huge demand

Check out CSK players who can be in huge demand in the upcoming IPL mega auction 2025.

IPL Mega Auction: Former Indian Premier League champions, Chennai Super Kings retained their core squad before the upcoming IPL mega auction. CSK retained players list includes the likes of Ruturaj Gaikwad, Ravindra Jadeja, Matheesha Pathirana, Shivam Dube and MS Dhoni. Despite retaining their core members, CSK has released several prominent players from their camp. Let us check out 3 CSK players who can be in huge demand in the IPL 2025 mega auction.

CSK players who can start bidding war in IPL mega auction

Devon Conway

In the last edition of the IPL, Devon Conway did not participate owing to an injury. In the 2023 IPL, Devon Conway was a key member of the CSK outfit that won the IPL for a record-equaling fifth time by winning the 2023 edition. The left-handed batter was the third-leading run-getter in last year’s competition, smashing 672 runs in 15 innings at an average of 51.69 and a strike rate of 139.71.

Daryl Mitchell

Daryl Mitchell is a New Zealand batting all-rounder who played for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the last Indian Premier League (IPL). Playing for CSK in the IPL, Daryl Mitchell established himself in Chennai’s middle order and played several good knocks with the bat. However, the Kiwi all-rounder was not retained by the Yellow Army for the upcoming IPL 2025.  In IPL 2024, the right-handed batter amassed 318 runs at a healthy strike rate of 142.60. He also scored two fifties, with 63 being his highest score.

Tushar Deshpande

Pacer Tushar Deshpande finished with 17 wickets in his 13 outings in the IPL 2024. Despite his wicket-taking abilities on a regular interval, the fast bowler was released from the CSK camp. It is highly likely that Deshpande will trigger a bidding war in the upcoming IPL 2025 mega auction.
