WTC Standings 2023-25: India slips to No. 2, New Zealand moves up to 4th after IND vs NZ Test series

India now holds the second spot in the WTC standings at 58.33%, with New Zealand close behind in fourth place at 54.55%, intensifying the competition.

India has slipped to the second spot in the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25 standings following their recent series loss by 3-0 against New Zealand. Australia are now leading the table. Having played 12 matches, Aussies hold the top position with a 62.50% points percentage after eight wins, three losses, and one draw, accumulating 90 points.

India, now in second place, has played 14 matches with eight wins, five losses, and one draw. Despite their strong run, two points were deducted, bringing their total to 98 points and a points percentage of 58.33%. Sri Lanka follows closely in third with a 55.56% points percentage, winning five out of nine games.

New Zealand moves up to fourth

New Zealand’s recent success has moved them up to fourth, with six wins out of 11 games and a points percentage of 54.55%, while South Africa sits fifth at 54.17%. England is sixth with a 40.79% points percentage despite winning nine of their 19 matches.
