Australia A need just 86 more runs to win the unofficial Test against India A, thanks to Fergus O Neil and Todd Murphy's stunning spell

India A once again witnessed a collapse as the side went from 256/5 to being bowled out for 312 runs in their 2nd innings of the unofficial Test against Australia A. The hosts need just 86 runs to win the match on the final day of play with seven wickets left in hand. Barring Devdutt Padikkal and Sai Sudharsan, the rest of the Indian batters failed to fire as Fergus O Neil and Todd Murphy wreaked havoc.

While Sai Sudharasan went on to score a century, Devdutt Padikkal sizzled with a 88-run knock. However, the departure of these two set batters triggered a collapse for India A. While Baba Indrajith departed after scoring just 6 runs, Test aspirants Ishan Kishan (32) and Nitish Kumar Reddy (17) failed to convert their starts into good knocks in the contest despite stitching together a decent partnership.
