Pat Cummins
SRH’s captain and Australian pacer Pat Cummins emerged as a standout leader with his tactical captaincy, changing the team’s approach. In the past, SRH was known for their defensive gameplay, but in the last IPL, everything shifted thanks to this star player. Under him, the entire Orange Army performed impressively well.
Abhishek Sharma
With Travis Head on one hand and the versatile all-rounder Abhishek Sharma on the other, both emerged as bowlers’ nightmares in every game. Primarily with the bat, Abhishek Sharma, one of the most consistent batters last season, scored around 500 runs at a striking rate of over 200.
Heinrich Klaasen
South African powerhouse Heinrich Klaasen is SRH’s top retention. With his class in wicketkeeping and middle-order batting, he is the main man. In IPL 2024, he often dismantled bowlers, which helped SRH to get some strong finishes.
Travis Head
Aggressive batter Travis Head has been retained once again. Head was a massive asset for SRH last season, consistently providing strong starts alongside Abhishek Sharma. Whenever SRH scored over 200 runs, it was often due to the destructive batting of Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head in the first few overs.
