What is the last day for IPL retention 2025?

The deadline for all franchises to submit their list of retained players ahead of the mega auction is Thursday, October 31. Each team is allowed to retain up to six players, with a maximum of five capped and two uncapped players. Franchises will also have Right-to-Match (RTM) cards available after subtracting the retained players.

What time will IPL retention 2025 live starting?

The IPL retention list will be revealed at 4:30 PM IST on the Jio Cinema app and the Star Sports website.

The auction purse for franchises in IPL 2025 has been set at Rs. 120 Crore. This season, the total salary cap will include the auction purse, incremental performance pay, and newly introduced match fees.

Minimum purse deductions for retained players have been defined by the IPL’s governing body as follows: Rs. 18 Crore for the first player, Rs. 14 Crore for the second, Rs. 11 Crore for the third, Rs. 18 Crore for the fourth, Rs. 14 Crore for the fifth, and Rs. 4 Crore for any uncapped player. Franchises have flexibility to offer their retained players higher or lower amounts based on these standards.
