Now or never! Indian women’s team charged up in practice before decider against New Zealand

Can the Indian women's team pull off the third and final ODI in their favour vs New Zealand? In a recently released video by the BCCI, it looks that the women in blue are putting everything into practice.

With the series on the line, it’s now or never for the Indian women’s team, who will look to dominate against New Zealand when they meet yet again at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. In the three-match ODI series, the current scoreline after two matches is 1-1. In the last game, it was the New Zealand camp that showed their resilience, making a comeback by defeating Harmanpreet and co. by 76 runs.

After choosing to bat first upon winning the toss, when the White Ferns came to bat, Sophie Devine, who is currently enjoying success, scored 79 runs. Her partnership with Maddy Green helped stitch together a total of 259 runs. And for India despite Radha Yadav’s brilliant 48 runs, New Zealand came out on top.

Now, the women in blue will look to tilt the third ODI in their favour. Recently, the BCCI uploaded a video showing all the Indian women charged up for the match. From Radha Yadav honing her bowling skills to Smriti Mandhana perfecting her pull shot, the team’s preparations were well captured.

Speaking more about the IND W vs NZ W third ODI, eyes will surely be on the Kiwi camp as well, especially with a team that recently won the T20 World Cup trophy for the first time by defeating South Africa. There are high expectations from them as well.
