Suryakumar and his team will take a flight to South Africa to play four crucial T20I games. This will be both teams’ first encounter after the thrilling T20 World Cup 2024, where India came out on top against the Proteas, clinching the ICC trophy after waiting for more than a decade.
Currently, the Indian Test team is experiencing a low point, as they were totally written off by the New Zealand. India suffered their first series defeat on home soil in Test cricket since 2012, the last came against Alastair Cook’s England.
Speaking more about the T20I series, the KFC T20I series will feature four matches starting on November 8 at Kingsmead, Durban. The caravan will then move to Dafabet St George’s Park, followed by the third match at SuperSport Park, and the final T20I will take place at Wanderers Stadium.
Not to forget, this will be India’s last T20I assignment of the year, as immediately after that, the Indian Test team will move on to play the ultimate Border-Gavaskar Trophy, which is expected to be big. See the full schedule of India’s tour of South Africa along with other crucial details.
