On Saturday she lost in the quarterfinals to China’s Qian Tianyi who is ranked 21st, in straight games (8-11, 8-11, 10-12), marking the end of her impressive campaign. Despite the loss, Batra has set a new milestone for Indian table tennis by becoming the first Indian player to reach the quarterfinals of a WTT Champions event.
