Can India still qualify for WTC final in 2025?
India now needs four wins from their remaining six games if they want to avoid relying on favourable outcomes from other teams’ Test series. Currently, India has one Test left in Mumbai against the Kiwis, followed by the ultimate Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Australia. If they fail to meet these requirements, they will have to depend on the results of other teams to secure a spot in the WTC final. Much of this will depend on how other competitive teams, like New Zealand, South Africa, and Sri Lanka, perform.
