The incident occurred in the final delivery of the 30th over. Virat Kohli attempted to tuck away the ball on the backfoot but ended up being hit on the front leg. Ball tracking showed no bat involved and the ball going to clip the leg stump and hence allowing the on-field umpire to stick to his decision as “Umpire’s call stood”. A visibly furious Virat Kohli couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw the decision on the giant screen. He was seen muttering to himself furiously while walking back to the pavilion.
