Virat Kohli’s poor form in Test cricket continues. Another day, when the India Cricket Team desperately wanted its top batter to shine, Kohli faltered. The ace batter was dismissed after having scored just 1 run in the IND vs NZ 2nd Test Day 2 in Pune. Kohli’s dismissal brought out criticism far and wide with former India star Sanjay Manjrekar sharing his concern for the top batter.
While others trolled and criticized Virat Kohli for his poor form, Sanjay Manjrekar however was pretty lenient on Kohli. He claimed that Kohli knew that he had played a bad shot and was dismissed. The former India skipper was beaten through his gates and bowled by Mitchell Santner who eventually bagged a 7-wicket haul.

“Oh dear! Virat will know himself that he has just played the worst shot of his career to get out. Got to feel for him…coz as always he came out with solid & honest intent,” Sanjay Manjrekar wrote on social media.
He further shared his concern that one needs to feel for Virat Kohli. The former cricketer also added that Virat Kohli came out with a positive intent to bat and bring out India from their poor position. However, unfortunately, that wasn’t the case to be in this occasion.
