Pro Kabaddi League, PKL 2024: UP Yoddhas thrash Bengaluru Bulls in one-sided encounter

UP celebrated their second consecutive victory, defeating Bengaluru Bulls 57-36, with Surender Gill shining with 17 points. Pardeep Narwal's team faced a tough start this season.


UP Yoddhas registers their second consecutive win, marking a fantastic start for the team as they defeat the Bengaluru Bulls by a score of 57-36. Surender Gill once again emerged as the match hero, scoring 17 points from 13 raids, including two tackles. Bharat also shone with 14 points for the team, collecting 5 of those from bonus points. On the other hand, Pardeep Narwal’s Bengaluru Bulls suffered their third defeat of the season, indicating a tough start for the team.

Earlier, in match 1, the Jaipur Pink Panthers thrashed the Telugu Titans at home with a commanding score of 52-22, securing a 30-point lead in their Pro Kabaddi League clash. The Season 9 champions managed to all out the Titans four times, with star raider Arjun Deshwal achieving his Super 10 during the match.

Coming up next, the second match will take place between UP Yoddhas and Bengaluru Bulls at 9:00 PM. Pardeep Narwal’s Bulls will be eager for a win, having lost their last two matches against the Telugu Titans and Gujarat Giants. The UP Yoddhas started their campaign on a good note, registering a win in their season opener against Dabang Delhi on Monday.
