Blind Esports Faces Salary and Prize Pool Allegations

Multiple esports players have accused Blind Esports of failing to pay salaries and withholding prize pool money.

A wave of allegations has surfaced against Blind Esports, a prominent organization in the Indian esports scene. Multiple players, including Aadii and Joker, have publicly accused the organization of failing to pay salaries and withholding prize pool money.

Aadii, in a detailed social media post, outlined a timeline of unfulfilled promises and financial strain caused by the delayed payments. The player emphasized the dedication and effort put in by the team members, who rely on their earnings for livelihood. Aadii urged Krafton India Esports to intervene and take action against organizations that engage in such practices.

Aadii posted, “Over the past five months, we have been asking salaries that have not been paid. Fake promises were made at regular intervals, phone calls, promising deadlines, endless conversations, not a single penny has been paid. This delay has created financial strain on many hardworking individuals who rely on their monthly earnings to support their families. The dedication and effort that players invest daily in helping the organization achieve its goals deserve timely compensation.”

TX Joker (ex-player of Blind Esports) also raised concerns about the organization’s financial dealings, claiming that Blind Esports had scammed nearly 80% of their prize pool money, amounting to over Rs 1 crore. The player urged aspiring esports athletes to conduct thorough background checks before joining any organization.

Former players of Blind Esports have joined the chorus of accusations, alleging similar issues of unpaid salaries and prize pool money. These allegations have cast a shadow over the organization’s reputation and raised questions about its financial practices.
Blind Esports has yet to issue a public statement in response to these allegations.
